Robert is an experienced musician based in Walsall. Originating from Yorkshire, he studied Popular Music at Wolverhampton University between 1995 and 1998. His band toured the UK and recorded at UB40's studios in Birmingham. Robert worked in Music retail during this period, selling hundreds of instruments and acquiring in depth knowledge of all things musical. Since 2009, Robert has worked as a Music teacher at a local Secondary school, delivering Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 Music lessons as well as Performing Arts. He gave one-to-one guitar lessons and led after-school Pop Music workshops, leading to successful concerts and ensuring progress amongst pupils of all ages. He offers tuition in Electric and Acoustic guitar, with a real passion for encouraging pupils to become musicians, not just guitarists.
