  1. I have been having weekly lessons with Robert and I don't regret any one of them. He has helped and motivated me to play guitar which ended up being my favourite hobby. Even outside of lessons, if I had any issues or questions related to guitars, he'd always help me. Best guitar tutor going.

  2. My Daughter always wanted to play a Guitar but was very low on confidence, this all changed when we stumbled upon Robert's Guitar tuition while looking for a tuitor in our local area, within weeks my daughter had more confidence due to Robert's teachings, Robert showed my daughter all the respect, kindness but most importantly gave her a guided hand teaching beyond my expectations, we are now in our second year with Robert and can see the relationship lasting a very long time, I must add that Robert is one of the nicest people you could ever have the plassure to meet......so if you are looking for a tuitor for a young one or an adult wanting to learn, I would recommend Robert every time,.

  3. My son has been having lessons for 4 months using both electric and acoustic guitars. Although initially this was to improve his confidence and support him with his Music GCSE, it has now become hobby that he really looks forward to each week. I am delighted to say that as a direct result of Roberts tuition, his grades have improved dramatically, from a grade E to a B+. The lessons are enjoyable and Robert tailors the lesson to suit the individual, for example rehearsing/practicing pieces of music for exams as well as playing my sons favourite tracks. I would highly recommend Roberts tuition, his teaching style is relaxed and fun and gets results.

  4. I have been having lessons now for 3 months,, and the progress from not even knowing how to hold a guitar, to being able to play along with a song, is amazing.
i have a long way to go though! As its more difficult than i imagined it would be,, but worth all the effort and finger tip pain!. i would like to thank Robert for his patience and fun lessons, were he is teaching me new things every week, and i now know enough chords to strum along to a few of my favourite songs.
i would receommend Robert as he paces the lessons to suit the ability and its not too technical, plus its fun! so thank you Robert for my new skills!!

  5. Having recently retired I dusted off the guitar that had been unused for many years but needed a lot of help to make any progress past the few chords I already knew. Robert has been great in helping me to build on my very limited ability, introducing me to a range of songs and techniques, all of which has developed my confidence. Each session is a challenge, but also great fun, which is what learning should be. More than happy to recommend Robert.

  6. My daughter was given an acoustic guitar so I thought i'd try her with some lessons to see if she took to it and i'm happy to say she loves it. Robert makes his lessons fun and is very encouraging which gives her the confidence she needs to learn. Its amazing watching how well she has picked it up after only a few sessions. I'd recommend Robert

  7. Received my guitar as a 58th birthday present. I am a total novice with regard to playing but Rob's lessons are so structured that each lesson just seems to expand on what you have already learned. Rob is really enthusiastic in his approach to teaching, I can't wait for my next lesson.

  8. my nine year old son started the acoustic guitar with Robert this year he has come on leaps and bounds Robert gives him lots of positive feedback and encouragement which makes my son keen to learn , he is already playing popular songs with Robert accompanying him.I record parts of the lessons on my phone which we can take away and use with the homework Robert gives each work. Lessons are relaxed as is Robert so if you,re a nervous student you will find Robert to be a patient tutor

  9. I'm 51, had a guitar since my 40th and had got nowhere and was ready to sell it on Ebay. As one last try I searched the internet and came up with Robs' contact. It was the comments here that prompted me to take the plunge. It was the best decision I've ever taken. He's relaxed, enthusiastic, loves his teaching and knows when and how far to push you. I love every lesson and if I'm struggling he goes over stuff again at a steady pace. It is so enjoyable I can't wait for each lesson to come around and I feel I am at last getting to grips with the basics. If you're looking at the comments here and thinking about getting in touch with Rob....don't think....Just do it.....and you won't regret a thing....learning with Rob is awesome!!!!!!!!

  10. Just had my 4th lesson with Rob. I have messed about with my guitar for about a year, with poor results. Rob comes along, makes the "learning process" fun, and suddenly things start to fall into place. Just dont know why that hour is the quickest of the week though!

  12. I came to Robert with some basic skills and a wish to expand a little having got a bit stuck on my own. A few lessons in and I am already seeing massive improvements under Robert’s guidance. The lessons are really enjoyable involving both technique and playing for fun as well. My enthusiasm is now fully restored, with a list of songs as long as my arm I want to learn!! He is happy to work at your pace, patient when things don’t work right straight away, has a thoroughly good understanding of all sorts of music so you will find something you want to play and most important of all makes it a fun thing to do.

  13. ive had a few lessons with robert and was a complete beginner, and within a short amount of time i was learning some of my favorite riffs aswell as all the chords and scales, ive found learning with Robert to be fun and the way he explains things are easy to understand, lessons are not rushed and he is more than happy to go over things that are a little tricky to grasp

  14. I had been a singer and a drummer for a number of years and one day decided to take the plunge and learn to play guitar.
I approached Robert for guitar lessons and found him to be very patient and able to convey quite difficult information in a manner in which was easy to understand.
Within no time I was strumming along to my favourite songs and recording ideas I’d created myself thanks to Robert.
I highly recommend taking lessons with Robert!!
